At YapYap & Howler, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, we offer a hassle-free returns and refund policy to ensure a smooth experience.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date under the following conditions:
✔ The item is unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.
✔ The item is not a final sale or non-returnable product (see Section 5 for exceptions).
✔ The item was not damaged due to misuse, improper handling, or unauthorized modifications.

2. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Us

📧 Email us at YapYap@CreativeSTEMSolutions.com with the following information:

• Order number
• Reason for return
• Photos of the item (if applicable, especially for damaged or defective items)

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

• We will review your request and, if approved, send you a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and return instructions.
• Returns sent without a RAN may not be accepted.

Step 3: Ship the Item

• Pack the item securely to prevent damage.
• Include a copy of your original order confirmation or packing slip inside the package.
• Ship to the return address provided in your authorization email.

Step 4: Processing Your Return

• Once received, we will inspect the item within 5-7 business days.
• If approved, we will issue a refund, replacement, or store credit as per your request.

3. Refunds & Processing Time

A. Refunds for Returned Items

• Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days after approval.
• Depending on your bank, refunds may take an additional 3-5 business days to appear in your account.

B. Refunds for Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. You may be eligible for:
✔ A free replacement
✔ A full refund

C. Refunds for Canceled Orders

• If you cancel an order before it has shipped, you will receive a full refund within 3-5 business days.
• If the order has already shipped, you must follow the returns process.

4. Return Shipping Costs & Fees

• Customer-Initiated Returns: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is damaged or defective.
• Company-Initiated Returns (damaged/defective products): We will provide a prepaid return label.
• Non-Refundable Fees:
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • If the item is returned in a damaged or used condition, a restocking fee of 10-20% may apply.

5. Non-Returnable & Final Sale Items

Some products cannot be returned for hygiene, safety, or other reasons, including:
❌ Personalized or custom-made items
❌ Digital downloads or e-books (if applicable)
❌ Clearance or final sale items
❌ Items marked as non-returnable on the product page

6. Exchanges

We allow exchanges for defective or incorrect items at no additional cost. If you need a different item, please initiate a return and place a new order.

7. Lost or Stolen Packages

We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. However, if your package is missing, please:
✔ Check your tracking number for status updates.
✔ Contact the shipping carrier to locate the package.
